Responsibilities

• Build and curate training datasets and develop workflows for extraction, cleaning, filtering, deduplication, transformation, and quality control.
• Use LLMs to generate, refine, filter, and evaluate synthetic data.
• Analyze data quality, dataset coverage, duplication, and distribution gaps.
• Experiment with data sources and processing strategies and assess effects on model performance.
• Support inference, evaluation, and training experiments; research datasets and LLM data methods.
• Collaborate with researchers and engineers on foundation model projects.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related technical field.
• Strong Python programming skills and a good understanding of machine learning, deep learning, NLP, or LLMs.
• Hands-on LLM experience through research, coursework, projects, internships, or open-source work.
• Comfort with datasets, data processing, and analysis; problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
• Able to work independently and collaborate in a fast-paced research environment.

Preferred qualifications

• PyTorch, Hugging Face, vLLM, LLM data synthesis, fine-tuning, model evaluation, prompt-based generation, or LLM training pipeline experience preferred.
• Large-scale datasets, distributed processing, relevant research, open-source contributions, competitions, or personal projects in LLMs or generative AI preferred.
