Role overview

What you'll do

• Build LLM features for risk assessment, control-to-framework mapping, policy analysis, and audit evidence review.
• Build and maintain RAG pipelines over regulatory frameworks, internal policies, and audit documentation.
• Develop agentic automation for drafting risk registers, gap analyses, and remediation plans.
• Evaluate, fine-tune, and productionize LLMs and embedding models; develop prompts, evaluation harnesses, and accuracy guardrails.
• Translate compliance logic, frameworks, controls, and risk scoring methods into structured, model-usable knowledge with GRC experts.
• Build observability, evaluation, and QA processes to support accurate and auditable AI outputs.
• Integrate AI services into DiGRC with backend and platform engineers, using APIs, data pipelines, and vector stores.
• Keep current with AI safety, security, and governance practices.

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering experience, including 1–2+ years building production AI/ML or LLM-powered applications.
• Strong Python skills and experience with LLM frameworks and vector databases.
• Hands-on RAG, prompt engineering, and LLM evaluation/testing experience.
• Understanding of API design and integration of AI services into full-stack products.
• Comfort working with unstructured and semi-structured documents and making them usable as data.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with non-engineering GRC/compliance experts.
• Comfort with startup or scale-up environments and fast iteration cycles.

Nice-to-have qualifications

• GRC, InfoSec, risk management, or compliance exposure, including ISO 27001, NIST CSF, SOC 2, GDPR, or UAE regulatory frameworks, is a plus.
• Open-source LLM fine-tuning or multi-agent orchestration experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with AI security and governance, model risk, hallucination mitigation, guardrails, or AI decision audit trails is a plus.
• Regulated-industry experience in fintech, cybersecurity, or audit/assurance is a plus.
