AI Engineer

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Design agent and sub-agent systems and workflows covering planning, tool execution, context, delegation, validation, error handling, and human approval.
• Build reusable automation for software development, testing, data processing, and business operations; integrate Claude Code and Codex.
• Create MCP servers and tools and n8n workflows connecting APIs, databases, Git, CI/CD, browsers, and enterprise applications.
• Build Playwright/Selenium browser automation; implement hooks, guardrails, security, testing, logging, monitoring, and audit trails.
• Optimize token use, context, model selection, latency, reliability, and cost; evaluate AI solutions and deploy production systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field; 5–8 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong programming, problem-solving, architecture, and API development skills; at least one of Python, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Java.
• Proven hands-on experience building AI, automation, and production software; ability to independently design, test, troubleshoot, deploy, and optimize systems.
• Must understand secure tool access, permissions, authentication, context, integrations, and appropriate use of deterministic automation.

Technical skills

• Agentic AI, Generative AI, LLM APIs, agents/sub-agents, prompt engineering, tool calling, RAG, context management, orchestration, and evaluation.
• Claude/Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, MCP server and tool development, hooks, AI coding agents, and AI-assisted workflows.
• n8n, Playwright/Selenium, browser automation, REST APIs, webhooks, SQL, Git, Docker, CI/CD, and cloud platforms.
• Production requirements include authentication, authorization, secrets management, logging, monitoring, telemetry, audit trails, and guardrails.

Preferred skills

• Preferred: experience with Claude and Codex usage analysis, production multi-agent systems, custom MCP servers, and Claude Code hooks.
• Preferred: Azure AI, Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Vertex AI, OpenAI/Anthropic APIs, vector databases, RAG, LangChain/LangGraph, Kubernetes, and AI observability.

Compensation

• Pay range is ₹45,000–₹80,000 per month.

Workplace

• Work mode is on-site; work location is in person.
