Zycus is hiring an AI-focused Site Reliability Engineer Intern to build, operate, and scale reliable AI-driven systems.
The role combines SRE, cloud infrastructure, and GenAI platforms, with exposure to Java-based enterprise applications using cloud LLMs.
Internship details
- Internship duration is six months.
- Stipend is INR 25,000 per month.
- High-performing interns may be considered for a full-time SRE role.
Responsibilities
- Ensure availability, scalability, and performance of AI-driven Java applications integrated with LLMs.
- Assist with cloud-based LLM applications and AI services.
- Support Kubernetes containerized applications and microservices reliability.
- Monitor system health, latency, and performance using Prometheus, Grafana, or similar tools.
- Use AI tools to automate SRE tasks, incident resolution, and workflows.
- Troubleshoot production issues, find root causes, and implement preventive measures.
- Optimize system efficiency, resource use, and application responsiveness.
- Support reliable, scalable AWS, GCP, or Azure infrastructure.
- Work with engineering teams on resilience and deployment processes.
- Maintain system documentation and explore SRE and GenAI operations.
Eligibility and required skills
- Final-year students or recent graduates with 0–1 year of experience.
- Basic proficiency in Java and/or Python, with Shell scripting; Java is preferred and Python is an alternative.
- Basic understanding of Generative AI and familiarity with LLM-based applications.
- Understanding of Docker and Kubernetes fundamentals.
- Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix systems.
- Awareness of AWS, GCP, or Azure environments.
Good to have
- Exposure to AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or ChatGPT.
- Basic microservices knowledge and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools and version control such as Git.
