Job Title: Agrifood Operations & Trade Lead

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Agrifood Operations & Trade Lead to manage sourcing, trading, and execution activities across multiple international markets.

The role focuses on developing supplier and buyer relationships, coordinating local and cross-border trade, and supporting operational execution within the agrifood sector.

Key Responsibilities:

· Identify and engage with suppliers, producers, and aggregators across target markets

· Build and manage relationships with buyers (Distributors, Retailers, HORECA)

· Structure, coordinate and execute import/export, local and cross-border trade activities

· Manage pricing, negotiation, and commercial terms

· Coordinate logistics including shipment, delivery, and documentation

· Conduct on-ground market visits and supplier assessments (farms, warehouses)

· Monitor market trends, supply availability, and pricing movements

· Support development of operational processes and trade workflows

Qualifications & Experience:

· 5–10 years experience in agrifood trading, supply chain, and import/export

· Strong understanding of:

o sourcing and procurement

o local and international trade processes

o logistics and supply chain coordination

Skills:

· Strong negotiation, relationship-building and communication skills

· Ability to manage cross-cultural business relationships

· Problem-solving and decision-making ability

· Practical, hands-on approach to operations

Preferred Profile:

· Experience working in emerging markets

· Existing network in agrifood supply or trade

· Multilingual is an advantage

Salary & Incentives

· Salary (based on experience & capabilities)
