About The Role

This role is responsible for driving sales of additives packages and components used in blending finished lubricants in the region through direct and channel sales channel.

Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers in the lubricants industry, understanding the market needs, and providing tailored solutions.

Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and potential opportunities for growth.

• Know Your Customers

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and prospective customers, understanding their needs, and providing exceptional service
  • Provide technical support and product knowledge to customers, assisting them in selecting the right additives and components for their blending processes.
  • Deliver revenues according to the target
  • Improve forecast accuracy
  • Formalize agreements with customers
  • Regularly report on sales performance, market insights, and customer feedback to senior management.
  • Participate in training sessions for customers and internal teams to enhance product understanding and application.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote the company's products and expand professional networks.
  • Work closely with the product development team to relay customer feedback and contribute to the improvement of product offerings
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and potential opportunities for growth.

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills

  • ***Minimum Qualification***
  • Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. with preferably a post-graduate qualifications.
  • More than 5 years of relevant work experience in Lubricants, chemical & additives industry in the Middle East & Africa.

***Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills***

  • 3 - 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Knowledge of Africa market
  • Knowledge of relevant systems and processes
  • Knowledge of relevant policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of legislation and regulations
  • Good understanding of Lubricant industry and additives businesses
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and ability to negotiate
  • Proficiency in English and French, Other languages is plus
  • Excellent presentation skills

  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
