• Position Summary:
• We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our Interventional Spine and Pain Management team of 4 Physicians and 4 APPs. This position offers the opportunity to practice across a diverse spectrum of care settings, fostering professional growth, clinical variety, and continuity of patient care. The hybrid structure supports a meaningful balance between inpatient and outpatient responsibilities and a healthy work-life balance while meeting the evolving needs of patients and the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments including history, physical examinations, and interpretation of diagnostic studies.
• Manage acute and chronic pain conditions
• Evaluate and triage new patient referrals and follow-up visits.
• Order and interpret laboratory studies, diagnostic testing
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans with collaborating physicians
• Provide patient education on disease management, lifestyle modifications, and medication management
• Assist with hospital rounding and consults
• Participate in care coordination with other providers and specialties.
• Document all patient encounters thoroughly and accurately in the Electronic Medical Record
• Maintain compliance with organizational policies, regulatory guidelines, and best practice standards.
• Participate in office call and hospital rotation. Weekends and holidays required with compensatory time off in accordance with departmental scheduling practices

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Program
• National Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Certification (APRN) OR national board certification as a Physician Assistant.
• Current Physician Assistant or APRN license in the State of Florida.
• BLS
• DEA License

Preferred Skills:

• 2+ years of interventional pain management experience
• Experience with Epic Electronic Medical Record
