Advanced Plant Operator – Permanent - Forrestdale We currently have an exciting permanent opportunity for a Non-Trade Employee within our Transmission Operations – Construction Team based at our brand-new state-of-the-art South Metro Depot in Forrestdale, conveniently located next to Tonkin Highway.

in Action To provide ‘multi skilled’ non-trade support in an electrical team environment in the Substation Construction and Maintenance of the transmission electricity network in a safe, reliable and efficient manner to maintain the integrity of the network. The role will involve large amounts of driving supporting the Field Crews across the Transmission network which will include times of working away from home and lone working. What Makes You a Great Fit We’re seeking someone from within our workforce with experience and attributes that include: Valid WA ‘C’ Class Drivers Licence (subject to business requirements) Valid WA ‘HR’ / ‘HC’ Licence (subject to business requirements) High Risk licence class Crane (C2 - C6), Forklift, EWP, Dogging or Basic Rigging (subject to business requirements) Relevant Network Authorisation including Construction industry white card and Basic Emergency Life Support (within the first month of employment) Prior experience in providing non trade support in an operational team environment Demonstrate Western Power's constructive behaviours and values.
