Role overview

Required qualifications and experience

• Bachelor's degree, diploma, or equivalent in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Instrumentation, Computer Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
• Solid experience installing, testing, and commissioning AGLCMS systems, plus experience in airport or airside solutions.
• Strong AGL and CMS knowledge; operations and planning skills; requirements or systems engineering experience.
• Experience designing network topology and administering TCP/IP-based services, including HTTP, FTP, SSH, and SMTP.
• Customer-facing experience, strong communication and interpersonal skills, teamwork, and negotiation abilities.
• Experience preparing technical and material submittals, method statements, checklists, testing plans, and commissioning plans.
• Knowledge of relevant airport safety regulations.

Valued technical experience

• Commissioning and testing electrical power equipment up to 5000 VAC; power electronics and power transformation.
• Knowledge of electronic control boards, electrical safety, circuit-load calculations, and electrical power supply and distribution.
• Ability to distinguish hardware, software, firmware, operating system, network, and application/system issues and produce accurate technical reports.

Role responsibilities

• Build requirements specifications and prepare system and software solution proposals.
• Provide advanced engineering and application management support for AGLCMS and Level 4 A-SMGCS operations.
• Collaborate with R&D and engineering teams to define project requirements and engage standards bodies on specifications and standards.
• Work with sales teams, airport clients, consultants, and design companies to position airport systems and support strategic pursuits.
• Establish and manage the onsite software configuration management system.
• Prepare method statements and standard operating procedures for airport systems installation.
• Develop quality plans and prepare installation, testing, and commissioning checklists and plans.
• Install, test, commission, and maintain air traffic control systems during and after warranty.
• Prepare site acceptance plans; validate and accept systems on airport premises.
• Train and brief airport personnel and mentor team members.
• Lead field work and quality assurance, including factory and site acceptance testing, inspections, snag rectification, documentation, and handover.
