Role Description
The Adult / Pediatric Endocrinology role at DiaServ is a full-time, on-site position based in Riyadh.
The clinician will evaluate and manage adult and pediatric patients with a wide range of endocrine disorders, including diabetes, thyroid disease, growth and puberty disorders, adrenal and pituitary conditions, and metabolic bone disease.
Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting comprehensive consultations, interpreting laboratory and imaging studies, formulating treatment plans, adjusting medications, and providing ongoing follow-up care.
The role involves close collaboration with primary care teams, diabetes educators, dietitians, and other specialists to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care.
Additional duties include maintaining accurate medical records, participating in case discussions and quality initiatives, educating patients and families about disease management, and contributing to clinical protocols and continuous improvement efforts.
Qualifications
- Advanced clinical training in endocrinology (adult and/or pediatric), with board certification or eligibility in endocrinology or pediatric endocrinology.
- Medical degree (MD or equivalent) and valid license/eligibility to practice medicine in Saudi Arabia.
- Demonstrated experience diagnosing and managing common and complex endocrine conditions, including diabetes, thyroid disorders, growth and puberty issues, adrenal and pituitary diseases.
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic reasoning, and evidence-based treatment planning skills.
- Ability to explain complex medical information clearly to patients and families, with a focus on education and self-management support.
- Commitment to multidisciplinary teamwork, collaborating effectively with nurses, educators, dietitians, and other specialists.
- High standards of professionalism, ethical practice, and respect for individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Comfort with using electronic medical records and clinical information systems for documentation and care coordination.
- Willingness to participate in quality improvement, clinical audits, and continuing medical education.
- Fluency in English required; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage
