Role Description
This is a Full-time role for an Admission and Discharge Coordinator with healthcare experience.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient admission and discharge processes efficiently and accurately.
- Register patients and ensure all required documents and records are completed.
- Prepare discharge files, billing coordination, and required documentation before patient discharge.
- Communicate with doctors, nurses, insurance teams, and other departments to ensure smooth patient flow.
- Assist patients and families with admission/discharge procedures and provide necessary guidance.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient records and comply with hospital policies and regulations.
- Schedule appointments and coordinate follow-up visits when required.
- Handle patient inquiries, phone calls, and administrative support tasks professionally.
- Ensure timely data entry and accurate updating of patient information in the hospital system.
- Monitor bed availability and coordinate room allocation with relevant departments.
- Prepare daily admission and discharge reports for management when required.
- Support front office operations and maintain a positive patient experience at all times.
