Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Admission Counselor role based in Dubai.
The Admission Counselor will guide prospective students and their families through the admission process, including initial inquiries, counseling sessions, course selection, and application support for universities in the UAE and abroad.
Responsibilities
include conducting consultations (in person, by phone, and online), assessing student profiles, recommending suitable programs and institutions, and supporting documentation and visa-related guidance.
The role involves managing a pipeline of leads, following up with prospects, and maintaining accurate records in CRM or tracking systems.
The Admission Counselor will also collaborate with internal teams on student recruitment initiatives, participate in events and school visits, and uphold high standards of customer service and ethical counseling practices.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Communication and Communication skills to engage effectively with students, families, and institutional partners.
- Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills to provide supportive, responsive, and solution-oriented guidance throughout the admission journey.
- Candidates should possess Sales-related skills, including lead follow-up, conversion, and target-oriented outreach in an ethical, consultative manner.
- Candidates should possess Education-related knowledge, such as familiarity with university admission processes, academic programs, and international education pathways.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written); additional languages commonly used in the region are an advantage.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and accurate documentation skills.
- Comfort with using office software, online meeting tools, and CRM or student management systems.
- Previous experience in education consultancy, university admissions, or student recruitment is preferred but not mandatory.
