About This Role

Overview

AMDTians Engineering & Technical Solutions is a reputable engineering and technical consulting firm serving clients across Qatar's construction and infrastructure sectors.

We are looking for an organized, professional, and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team in Doha.

This role is essential for supporting daily office operations and ensuring smooth administrative workflows.

What You'll Do

  • Greet visitors, answer phone calls, and respond to general email inquiries.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional office environment.
  • Assist with filing, scanning, copying, and organizing both digital and physical documents (contracts, invoices, project files).
  • Manage office supplies inventory and place orders when needed.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and basic travel arrangements.
  • Assist the engineering team with basic documentation, timesheets, and expense reports.
  • Support management with general administrative tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Diploma or certificate in Office Administration, Business, or related field is preferred.
  • 2-3 years of experience in an administrative, clerical, or office support role.
  • **Good communication skills in English (spoken and written).** Knowledge of Arabic or Sinhala is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic computer skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Professional, reliable, and able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Valid QID (Qatar ID) and NOC (No Objection Certificate) preferred.
  • Nice to Have:
  • Experience working in engineering, construction, or technical services sectors.
  • Basic knowledge of document control or project management.
  • Familiarity with Al Sadd area and local business practices.
