Overview

The administrative assistant provides comprehensive administrative, coordination, and operational support to the assigned department.

The role is responsible for ensuring the efficient day-to-day operation of administrative functions, supporting meetings, maintaining records, coordinating activities, and facilitating communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities Provide day-to-day administrative support to the assigned department.

Assist with processing departmental requests, approvals, and administrative procedures.

Ensure administrative processes are completed accurately and within required timelines.

Coordinate meetings, appointments, and schedules for the department.

Follow up on assigned actions and maintain records of decisions and outcomes.

Serve as a point of contact for faculty, staff, students, and external stakeholders.

Respond to routine enquiries and direct requests to the appropriate individuals.
