Adjunct Faculty - Architecture - College of Arts and Creative Enterprises - Dubai and Abu Dhabi Campuses (immediate start)

The College of Arts and Creative Enterprises seeks qualified candidates to teach as adjuncts in positions which are opening in the Architecture / Interior Design Programs.

These position(s) will be based at the Abu Dhabi or Dubai campus, with appointments beginning in August 2026.

It is anticipated that the successful candidate/s will make a valuable contribution to the development of the program in the College through forging strong relationships and liaising with the local industry, as well as support an integrated approach of the curriculum.

The candidate/s will encourage students to consider their future careers within a local, regional and international context and ensure that they are equipped with the necessary tools and knowledge to take up this challenge.

About the College

The College of Arts and Creative Enterprises offers a professional degree Bachelor of Architecture.

It also offers Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree with majors in Animation Design, Graphic Design, Interior Design, and Visual Art, a Bachelor of Science degree in Multimedia Design with the College of Communication and Media Sciences and the College of Technological Innovation.

The College of Arts and Creative Enterprises aims to prepare students to become creative leaders in the arts and related industries.

The mission is to provide student artists and designers with an opportunity to explore and develop their own creative ideas while contributing to national initiatives in the culture of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Candidates will have the opportunity to contribute to the growth and initiatives of the college that will advocate innovative practices and research.

The Bachelor of Architecture degree is envisioned as the first-of-its-kind 5-year professional degree, focused specifically on the design of built environments in the Arabian Gulf region and similar desertic environments.

This professional B.Arch. program is unique to the region, contextually grounded and directly responsive to both the environmental and socioeconomic characteristics of the region, particularly the UAE.

Its mission is to promote the understanding of this regional context within a global perspective.

The three areas of focus are

*Desert Architecture, UAE Progressive Urbanization, and Arab Architecture Heritage*

, which respond to the below-mentioned considerations:

Sustainable design for hot and arid desert climate

B.

Responsible design for rapid urban growth

C: Historical/social understanding of architecture in the Arab world in relation to the global context.
