About the Department

Position Duties

• Establish and promote an effective learning environment that maximizes documented student learning. Submit required college reports and forms in a timely manner. Utilize a course syllabus for each course, following established institutional guidelines. Meet with and advise students either before or after class or by appointment, electronic communication, or other appropriate methods. Attend meetings, trainings, and orientations as required. Maintain levels of professional knowledge and expertise. Responsible for other reasonable, related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Criminal Justice. Teaching experience.
• Master’s degree in Criminal Justice.
• Teaching experience.

Other Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Criminal Justice. Experience teaching in a Community College and/or collegiate teaching experience.
• Ph.D. in Criminal Justice.
