RIT Dubai is seeking an adjunct assistant professor in the Mathematics and Sciences Department for the Spring semester, January through May 2027.
The role involves teaching mathematics and statistics courses at university level.
Required qualifications
- PhD degree in Mathematics or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
- Previous experience teaching multiple mathematics and statistics courses at university level.
- Excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate mathematics and/or statistics courses at the 100–300 levels.
- Prepare and deliver lectures, discussions, and problem-solving sessions using the approved syllabus and textbook.
- Design assessments and maintain accurate grade and attendance records; submit grades by institutional deadlines.
- Hold regular in-person office hours and attend required meetings or trainings.
- Follow university policies on instruction, academic integrity, and accessibility.
- Use technology and, when appropriate, statistical software and AI-based tools.
