Educational qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or another major with quantitative coursework.
  • Actively pursuing actuarial exams.

Key responsibilities

  • Compile, validate, reconcile, and analyze data.
  • Analyze reserving for technical provisions, pricing and underwriting reviews, and solvency reviews.
  • Support other actuarial tasks and the production of IFRS 17 disclosures, including reviews and validation against IFRS 4.
  • Provide reinsurance analysis and support, contribute to general consulting work, and carry out assigned development work.

Skills

  • Good expertise in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Fair knowledge of software such as SAS or R.
  • GCC or Middle East market experience is an advantage.
  • Good interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
