Overview
- Review and evaluate acoustical design calculations, simulations, technical studies, and engineering reports.
- Review shop drawings, material submittals, AV system designs, and contractor submissions for compliance with project requirements.
- Supervise and inspect acoustical construction works, including sound insulation, acoustic treatments, auditorium systems, AV installations, and specialized acoustic materials.
- Verify compliance with applicable codes, standards, project specifications, and quality requirements.
- Conduct site inspections and provide technical recommendations for acoustical and AV-related issues.
- Review contractor progress, quality of work, testing, commissioning activities, and acceptance procedures.
- Quantify completed works and evaluate contractor claims, variations, and change orders related to acoustical systems.
- Coordinate with architects, mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, AV specialists, and project stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
- Prepare technical reports, inspection reports, punch lists, and project documentation as required.
- Support project management team during design review, construction supervision, testing, commissioning, and project close-out activities.
