Join Belgravia Leisure’s Partners in Health allied health team at Gympie Aquatic Recreation Centre in Gympie, Queensland.
The Exercise Physiologist role is described as part-time/casual and focuses on improving community health outcomes.
What you’ll do
- Deliver evidence-based exercise physiology services for chronic disease management, injury rehabilitation, and wellbeing.
- Design tailored programs for clients with cardiovascular, metabolic, and musculoskeletal conditions.
- Use gym and hydrotherapy facilities for land-based and aquatic therapy.
- Collaborate with physiotherapists, dietitians, and occupational therapists.
- Contribute to health promotion and community engagement, and educate clients about their health.
What you’ll bring
- Accredited Exercise Physiologist status with ESSA.
- Strong clinical reasoning and commitment to person-centred care.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a proactive, flexible, empowering approach.
- Successful applicants must obtain a national police check and Working with Children check.
