Accounts Receivable Analyst

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Prepare, quality check, and process client invoices and credit notes according to agreed sales ledger processes.
• Provide client service and communication and resolve client accounts receivable issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
• Support reconciliation of daily payments received.
• Support credit control by chasing overdue accounts as instructed by the manager.
• Identify potential client credit control issues and escalate them to the manager.
• Maintain accurate reconciliation of sales ledger accounts.
• Develop professional working relationships with the Client Reservations team by understanding its processes, commitments, and staff.

Experience and qualifications

• Degree with a finance focus, such as accounting and finance, economics, mathematics, or finance and business.
• Knowledge of payment types and processes is preferred but not essential.
• Relevant experience with Sage 200 accounts is preferred but not essential.

• Excellent verbal and written English.
• Good numeracy skills and advanced Excel knowledge.
• Problem-solving skills and an analytical approach to business.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.

Compensation

• Pay is £29,000 per year.

Work location

• The role is performed in person.
