Role Overview
Full-time Engineering Director role in the Engineering & Technical Management department.
Leads technical operations, engineering initiatives, and continuous improvement, aligning engineering work with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish engineering strategies, technical roadmaps, and operational priorities aligned with organizational goals.
- Lead engineering teams and direct engineering projects from planning through evaluation.
- Optimize processes, resource allocation, and project workflows; evaluate emerging technologies and industry developments.
- Collaborate with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to align initiatives with business needs.
- Manage budgets, schedules, resource requirements, and operational risks; establish performance indicators and monitor project quality and delivery.
- Mentor engineering managers and technical professionals; foster accountability and innovation.
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety requirements, quality policies, and regulatory guidelines.
- Identify technical challenges, implement corrective measures, and drive continuous improvement.
- Present performance updates, project progress, and strategic recommendations to senior management.
