Role overview
The Payments & Analytics team manages vendor payments, reconciliations, and analytical reporting to improve AP efficiency and accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Prepare payment proposals from processed invoices and business escalations.
- Manage outstanding-payment escalations and coordinate timely payments with departments in line with operational budgets.
- Verify and distribute remittance advice and proof of payment; post payments and clear open invoices.
- Monitor prepayments and apply them to relevant invoices.
- Prepare reports on operational and financial KPIs and reconcile vendor statements regularly.
- Follow internal controls, financial regulations, and company policies.
- Collaborate with Vendor Management to resolve payment-related vendor inquiries.
Required skills and experience
- 1–3 years of experience in a high-volume, global Accounts Payable environment.
- Advanced experience using Excel; proficiency in AP automation and ERP systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and data accuracy.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills; able to manage multiple inquiries and prioritize tasks.
- SoftCo and SAP are preferred but not essential.
