Position Overview
Position: Accounts Payable Analyst covering vendor invoices or employee expense claims.
The role is based in Cyber City, Gurugram, India.
Work mode is in office from Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities
- Process vendor invoices or employee expense claims, including high-volume processing of approximately 200 documents per week.
- Ensure documentation and approvals are complete, audit and verify transactions, and handle foreign exchange considerations.
- Communicate with staff to resolve problems and perform data entry in ReadSoft and SAP.
- Respond to queries and refer complex or controversial issues to the Accounts Payable Supervisor.
- Prepare adjusting journal entries and perform general administrative duties and special projects.
Skills and Abilities
- Break down complex issues and problems into manageable components.
- Work effectively in a high-volume environment.
- Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Use SAP, Concur, ReadSoft, and Excel; this working knowledge is mandatory.
- Knowledge of billing is preferred.
- Know the SAP transaction codes and functionality used for accounts payable.
Qualifications
- B.Com, M.Com, MBA in Finance, or an equivalent accounting or finance qualification.
- At least 3 years of accounts payable and ERP or SAP experience.
