We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Manager to oversee and manage
the financial operations within the Healthcare sector.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for
ensuring accurate financial management, regulatory compliance, and timely reporting while
supporting strategic financial decision-making to ensure the organization’s financial stability and
growth.
1. Financial Management
- Oversee end-to-end financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, and financial
- planning.
- Develop, implement, and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Monitor financial performance and identify areas for cost optimization and efficiency
- improvement.
- Support strategic decision-making through financial insights and analysis.
• General Ledger Management
o Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts ensuring accuracy and
completeness.
o Supervise month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
o Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Accounts Payable (AP)
o Oversee invoice processing, payment approvals, and vendor reconciliations.
o Ensure timely payments and maintain strong vendor relationships.
• Accounts Receivable (AR)
- o Manage billing, invoicing, and collections processes.
- o Monitor outstanding receivables and ensure timely follow-up on overdue
- accounts.
- o Maintain customer account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Fixed Assets:
- o Maintain fixed asset register including capitalization, depreciation, and disposal.
- o Conduct periodic physical verification of assets.
- Taxation:
- o Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and corporate tax requirements.
- o Prepare and submit tax returns accurately and on time.
3. Accounts Receivable & Collections
- Perform regular reconciliation of customer accounts and receivables.
- Monitor aging reports and implement effective collection strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of customer communications and payment follow-ups.
- Prepare detailed AR reports and provide insights on collection performance.
4. Financial Reporting
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash
- Flow).
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and applicable local accounting standards.
- Prepare ad-hoc financial reports for senior management as required.
5. Audit & Compliance
- Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely resolution of audit queries.
- Strengthen internal control systems to safeguard organizational assets.
- Ensure full compliance with UAE financial regulations and healthcare industry
requirements

- Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities when required.
6. Budgeting & Forecasting
- Lead annual budgeting process in coordination with department heads.
- Prepare financial forecasts based on historical data and business trends.
- Monitor budget utilization and highlight variances with recommendations.
7. Financial Analysis
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights to management.
- Support cost control initiatives and profitability improvement strategies.
8. Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance/accounts team.
- Ensure high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.
- Foster a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Professional qualification such
- as ACCA/CPA/CMA preferred).
- 5–8+ years of experience in accounting/finance, preferably in the Healthcare sector.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, UAE VAT, and corporate taxation.
- Experience in managing full-cycle accounting and financial reporting.
- Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Tally, Oracle preferred).
