Empire Sarmad Sports Fields and Halls Equipment Trading LLC specializes in the supply and installation of sports equipment, sports flooring, indoor and outdoor playgrounds, soft play systems, recreational facilities, and sports infrastructure projects across the UAE.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Assistant to join our growing team.
Job Summary
The Accounts Assistant will support the Finance Department in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Accounts Manager in day-to-day accounting and financial operations.
- Record and maintain daily financial transactions in the accounting system.
- Prepare and process invoices, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
- Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Follow up with customers regarding outstanding payments and collections.
- Reconcile bank statements and supplier accounts.
- Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and management reports.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records.
- Support payroll preparation and employee expense claims.
- Assist in VAT documentation, submissions, and compliance requirements.
- Coordinate with suppliers, clients, and internal departments regarding financial matters.
- Assist during audits and provide supporting documentation as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in the UAE.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
- Experience with accounting software like Zoho Books.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
- Good communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations.
- Experience in construction, trading, contracting, or project-based companies.
- Ability to prepare Statements of Account, supplier reconciliations, and collection reports.
