An Account Assistant supports the accounting and finance department by maintaining financial records, processing transactions, assisting with bookkeeping activities, and ensuring accurate financial documentation.
The role helps ensure smooth day-to-day financial operations and compliance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Process invoices, payments, receipts, and expense claims.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and financial databases.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
- Reconcile bank statements and company accounts.
- Prepare financial reports, spreadsheets, and summaries.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Assist in payroll administration and tax documentation.
- Handle filing and organization of financial records.
- Communicate with vendors, customers, and internal departments regarding financial matters.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Good organizational and time-management abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Pay: From AED2,500.00 per month
