Job Summary

The Accountant & Administrative Officer is responsible for managing the company's financial records, accounting processes, and daily administrative operations.

The role ensures accurate financial reporting, compliance with company policies, and efficient office management.

Key Responsibilitiesaccounting Duties

  • Maintain accurate financial records and bookkeeping.
  • Record daily financial transactions and reconcile bank statements.
  • Prepare invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Monitor cash flow and company expenses.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Assist with budgeting and financial forecasting.
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns and ensure compliance with UAE regulations.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants.
  • Process payroll and employee reimbursements.
  • Maintain fixed asset registers and accounting documentation.
  • Ensure timely payment of suppliers and collection of customer payments.

Administrative Duties

  • Manage office administration and maintain organized filing systems.
  • Prepare contracts, letters, and official company documents.
  • Handle correspondence, emails, and telephone inquiries.
  • Manage office supplies and procurement.
  • Schedule meetings and coordinate appointments.
  • Support management with reports, presentations, and administrative tasks.
  • Liaise with banks, vendors, and service providers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in accounting and administration.
  • Knowledge of UAE accounting standards and VAT regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks or ERP systems.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
