Your Role: Integrating Finance with Operational Excellence
This position requires a unique blend of financial oversight and proactive operational management.
You will be responsible for ensuring that our commercial activities are reflected accurately in our books and executed flawlessly throughout our supply chain.
Financial Management
- Execute daily accounting tasks, including bank reconciliations, VAT compliance, and month-end closing procedures.
- Categorize and record financial transactions accurately within the accounting system.
- Maintain monthly reconciliation schedules and supporting journals.
- Reconcile bank accounts and investigate discrepancies.
- Review, reconcile, and adjust tax-related transactions.
- Manage Qashio reconciliations and expense clearing.
- Monitor cash flow and support cash management activities.
- Follow up on missing supplier and customer invoices.
- Review and process FOC (Free of Charge) transactions and ensure proper COGS adjustments.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS standards and internal financial controls.
Sales & Commercial Support
- Create and issue invoices for wholesale and purchase-order clients.
- Follow up on sales reports from consignment partners.
- Monitor collections and follow up on outstanding customer payments.
- Support the sales team in evaluating reseller performance and commercial opportunities.
- Assist in analyzing sales trends, margins, and customer profitability.
Reseller Management & Commercial Analysis
- Manage invoicing and account reconciliations for online resellers and marketplace partners.
- Prepare monthly P&L reports for online reseller channels.
- Conduct reseller and category-level profitability analysis.
- Audit marketplace fees and billing charges.
- Review promotional campaigns and margins to ensure commercial viability.
- Support commercial decision-making through financial and operational insights.
Supply Chain & Marketplace Ownership
- Oversee stock replenishment and PO management across major e-commerce platforms (Amazon, Noon, etc.).
- Manage the end-to-end flow of goods from inbound logistics to last-mile fulfillment.
- Coordinate inventory planning and replenishment activities.
- Monitor marketplace operations to ensure product availability and service levels.
- Work closely with logistics partners to optimize operational performance.
Inventory Control
- Maintain full inventory visibility across UAE and KSA warehouses.
- Prepare stock health, aging, and coverage reports.
- Monitor stock movement and inventory accuracy.
- Coordinate inter-warehouse transfers and inventory balancing.
- Support inventory audits and investigate stock variances.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Act as the primary liaison between Finance, Sales, Supply Chain, and Logistics teams.
- Resolve operational and service-level bottlenecks proactively.
- Coordinate with external partners, marketplaces, warehouses, and logistics providers to ensure smooth business operations.
Business Development & Regional Support
- Support the development, audit, and operational enhancement of KSA business activities.
- Assist management in evaluating new operational and commercial initiatives.
- Participate in process improvement projects across finance and operations functions.
Data, Reporting & AI Adoption
- Develop dashboards and management reports to provide operational and financial visibility.
- Leverage AI tools to improve reporting, analysis, forecasting, and workflow efficiency.
- Continuously identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks and enhance decision-making processes.
Strong Educational Foundation
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Candidates pursuing or holding professional certifications (CMA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, etc.) will be viewed favorably.
Financial Acumen
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, product costing, and profitability analysis.
Operational Knowledge
- Familiarity with supply chain logistics, inventory management systems, and e-commerce marketplace operations.
Advanced Technical Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience working with ERP systems and accounting software.
- Interest in data analytics, automation, and AI-powered business tools is highly desirable.
