Role Overview
A company in north Riyadh is seeking a hands-on Accounting Manager with strong accounting and finance management experience.
The role combines supervision and review with direct execution of accounting tasks when needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the full accounting cycle and review journal entries and financial records.
- Monitor customer and supplier accounts, invoices, collections, and receivables and payables.
- Prepare bank reconciliations, monthly and annual closings, financial statements, reports, and cash flow statements.
- Track project costs and analyze expenses, revenues, and profitability for each project.
- Review procurement and purchase orders and link them to projects and BOQs.
- Monitor VAT, e-invoicing, and ZATCA requirements.
- Prepare external audit requirements and year-end accounts.
- Develop accounting procedures and internal controls.
- Supervise and review the accounting team while performing daily accounting work when needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- At least 7 years of practical accounting experience.
- At least 3 years of experience as an Accounting Manager or Chief Accountant.
- Strong experience in project accounting, cost accounting, and project profitability.
- Experience with BOQs, procurement, and purchase orders.
- Practical experience with closings, financial statements, bank reconciliations, VAT, and e-invoicing.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, accounting systems, and ERP software.
Work Location
- The work location is in person in Riyadh.
