Accounting Manager - Jeddah

Role overview

Accounting and reporting

• Manage daily accounting department operations, ledger data, and the general ledger system.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and provide data and recommendations to the controlling team and CFO.
• Align processes with IFRS and local financial legislation; complete project, month-end, and year-end reports accurately and on time.
• Coordinate annual audits, improve processes, initiate corrective actions, and standardize processes across local brands.
• Report profit and loss and balance sheet information to headquarters.

Tax and compliance

• Manage preparation and timely filing of tax returns, income tax, and withholding tax forms.
• Develop the filing calendar, maintain tax process controls, and monitor tax-law developments.
• Support new income tax implementation, internal audits, and special tax projects.
• Support compliance requirements and maintain controls aligned with group standards and policies.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 7–10 years of progressive accounting experience and 4–5 years in an Accounting Manager or similar leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, local financial regulations, financial reporting, and tax compliance.
• Experience leading closing, audit coordination, and process improvement; ability to manage, coach, and develop an accounting team.
• CMA, SOCPA, or another relevant professional certification is an advantage.
