Accounting Manager

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
• Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and accounting schedules.
• Monitor budgets, cash flow, expenses, and financial performance.
• Ensure accurate reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Maintain internal controls and support audit preparation.
• Align accounting procedures with applicable regulations and company policies.
• Lead and support accounting team members and improve departmental efficiency.
• Provide financial insights to senior management to support business decisions.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of relevant accounting or financial management experience is preferred, with demonstrated responsibility for accounting operations.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
• Accounting software, ERP systems, and advanced Microsoft Excel experience are advantageous.
• Analytical, organizational, problem-solving, leadership, and team coordination abilities.
• Attention to detail, integrity, and ability to handle confidential financial information.
• A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
• ACCA, CPA, or CMA qualifications are advantageous.
