Role Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Manager to oversee the organization's accounting operations and ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial reporting.
This role is responsible for managing accounting processes, maintaining strong internal controls, supporting regulatory compliance, and providing financial insights to support business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Manage daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and bank reconciliations.
- Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, statutory requirements, and internal policies.
- Develop and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and facilitate the preparation of audit documentation.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial analysis activities.
- Monitor financial transactions and identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and reporting efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business operations and organizational objectives.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support management decision-making.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team while fostering a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, CA, CIMA, or equivalent) is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, taxation, internal controls, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficiency in accounting systems, ERP platforms, Microsoft Excel, and financial reporting tools.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic business environment.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
