Accounting Manager

Role Description

Key Responsibilities Include

• Manage daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and bank reconciliations.
• Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, statutory requirements, and internal policies.
• Develop and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and facilitate the preparation of audit documentation.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial analysis activities.
• Monitor financial transactions and identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and reporting efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business operations and organizational objectives.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support management decision-making.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team while fostering a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, CA, CIMA, or equivalent) is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, taxation, internal controls, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proficiency in accounting systems, ERP platforms, Microsoft Excel, and financial reporting tools.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic business environment.
