Role overview

Accounting operations and reporting

• Maintain accurate records across multiple group entities; review journal entries, accruals, provisions, and reconciliations.
• Maintain the General Ledger and correct account classification; support timely daily accounting activities.
• Support monthly and year-end close and prepare or review balance sheet, profit and loss, and cash flow reports.
• Prepare management reports and financial analysis; reconcile intercompany transactions and balances.

Payables, tax, audit, and banking

• Monitor AP and AR, supplier invoices, payments, collections, aging reports, and outstanding receivables and payables.
• Support payroll preparation and WPS coordination.
• Support VAT and Corporate Tax compliance and Transfer Pricing reporting and documentation.
• Prepare audit schedules and documents, coordinate with auditors, and provide supporting records.
• Prepare and review bank reconciliations; monitor transactions and payment documentation and ensure required approvals.

Process improvement

• Follow and implement finance and accounting SOPs and support standardized processes across group entities.
• Assist with ERP/accounting system improvements and digitalization.

Essential qualifications and experience

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field and at least six years of accounting experience.
• Experience in multi-company or group accounting, VAT, Corporate Tax, external audits, and ERP/accounting systems.
• Strong accounting and IFRS knowledge, including General Ledger, AP, AR, reconciliations, financial reporting, and month-end close.
• Knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax; proficiency with ERP/accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to work across multiple companies or entities.

Preferred qualifications and experience

• UAE experience is preferred.
• ACCA, CMA, CA Inter, or an equivalent professional qualification is preferred.
• Experience in real estate, property management, facilities management, or investment holding companies is preferred.
• IFRS, VAT, or Corporate Tax certification is preferred.

Pay

• AED 12,000–15,000 per month.
