REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: Must be a currently-enrolled sophomore, junior or senior at an undergraduate college or university, majoring in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field. ( May 2027 graduates will not be eligible ).
  • Skills: Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts is required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel is preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Learns and assists with the quarterly financial reporting process.
  • Assists with reconciling outstanding checks and unclaimed property.
  • Learns and assists with reinsurance accounting and related reporting.
  • Performs various account and cash reconciliations.
  • Assists with coding and entering accounts payable transactions.
  • Prepares and enters monthly journal entries.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
