Travel to client sites, mostly in Waukegan and Lake County
Collect, scan, and upload receipts, invoices, and statements
Attach supporting documents to transactions in the accounting system
Find missing documentation and follow up with clients to get it
Reconcile bank, credit card, and other balance sheet accounts
Research and resolve reconciliation differences
Review transactions for proper documentation and coding
Help with month-end and year-end close
Prepare schedules and documents requested by auditors
Keep electronic accounting and audit files organized
Keep the OSG team updated on the status of your work

What You Need
Currently pursuing a degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field

Comfortable handling confidential financial records

Clear written and verbal communication
Basic Excel or Google Sheets skills
Reliable transportation to client sites in the Waukegan and Chicago area
