Accounting Coordinator

Position Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Process and record invoices, payments, receipts, and other financial transactions accurately and timely
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
• Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable aging reports
• Support payroll processing and expense reimbursements
• Maintain proper documentation for all financial transactions
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant accounting regulations
• Coordinate with external auditors during audits and provide required documentation
• Support finance manager in ad hoc financial analysis and reporting tasks

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2–4 years of experience in accounting or finance roles
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks efficiently
• Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)

Preferred Skills

• Experience in construction, manufacturing, or industrial sector companies
• Knowledge of VAT and tax compliance in Qatar
• Familiarity with ERP systems
