Accountant role responsible for maintaining accounting records and supporting financial controls.
The role includes UAE tax compliance, reconciliations, financial reporting, and coordination with external parties.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate books of accounts and accounting records.
- Handle UAE VAT accounting, VAT returns, reconciliations, and compliance.
- Assist with UAE corporate tax calculations, records, and compliance requirements.
- Prepare VAT reports and supporting documentation.
- Perform bank, customer, supplier, and general ledger reconciliations.
- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Prepare monthly profit and loss statements, balance sheets, trial balances, and management reports.
- Monitor workshop revenue, expenses, purchases, and operating costs.
- Verify invoices, purchase orders, receipts, and supporting documents.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, banks, and other external parties when required.
- Assist management with budgeting, cash-flow monitoring, and financial analysis.
- Maintain confidentiality of company financial information.
Requirements
- Experience working with Tally is required.
- Knowledge of UAE VAT accounting, returns, reconciliations, and compliance is required.
- Knowledge of UAE corporate tax calculations, records, and compliance requirements is required.
- Applicants must be able to attend an in-person interview in Abu Dhabi.
- Applicants must be able to complete a three-day trial.
Compensation
- Full-time position paying AED 4,000 to AED 7,000 per month.
Workplace
- Work location is in person in Abu Dhabi.
