Job Summary

Senior Accountant

• Egypt - 1

• Libya – 1

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage
• end-to-end accounting operations
• for Egypt and Libya entities
• Prepare and present
• monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Ensure compliance with
• local tax laws, VAT regulations, and statutory requirements
• in Egypt and Libya
• Maintain and monitor
• general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations
• Handle
• group consolidation reporting
• and intercompany transactions
• Develop and manage
• budgets, forecasts, and cash flow planning
• Coordinate with
• external auditors
• and ensure timely completion of audits
• Ensure adherence to
• IFRS standards
• and company financial policies
• Provide
• financial insights and reports
• to senior management for decision-making
• Maintain proper documentation for
• audit, compliance, and ISO standards
• Liaise with
• banks, tax authorities, and government bodies
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff across locations

Requirements

• Libya Role:
• Any nationality willing to relocate to Libya
• **Experience:**
• Minimum
• 15+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Proven experience in
• multi-country or group company structure
• Experience handling
• Middle East / North Africa (MENA) region accounting
• preferred
• **Education:**
• Bachelor’s Degree in

(Mandatory)

• Master’s Degree in Finance/Accounting (Preferred)
• **Professional Certifications (Highly Preferred):**
• **CA (Chartered Accountant)**
• **ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants)**
• **CPA (Certified Public Accountant)**
• CMA or equivalent finance certification is an advantage
• **Technical Skills:**
• Strong knowledge of
• IFRS and international accounting standards
• In-depth understanding of
• tax regulations in Egypt and Libya
• Proficiency in
• ERP systems
• (SAP, Oracle, Tally, or similar)
• Advanced knowledge of
• MS Excel and financial modeling
• **Language Requirements:**
• **Fluent in Arabic and English (Mandatory)**

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
