About Us
The Curtain Company is a luxury interiors brand specializing in bespoke curtains, blinds, upholstery, and exclusive fabrics.
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented
Accountant
to manage all financial operations from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee
- end-to-end accounting
- processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial records.
- Prepare and process
- invoices
- ,
- quotations
- , and
- purchase orders
- .
- Manage
- accounts receivable & payable
- , including follow-up on outstanding payments.
- Handle
- petty cash
- transactions, reconciliations, and expense tracking.
- Prepare and submit
- VAT/tax filings
- in compliance with UAE regulations.
- Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial forecasts to support management decisions.
- Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual
- financial statements & reports

- Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and government authorities as needed.
- Implement and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum
- 3–5 years of UAE experience
- in full-cycle accounting.
- Strong knowledge of
- UAE VAT laws
- and corporate tax regulations.
- Proficiency in
- accounting software
- (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, or similar) and MS Excel.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and handle multiple tasks.
- Strong communication skills for liaising with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
