Full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Sharjah.
Manages financial transactions, accounting records, reporting, and support for budgeting, audits, and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Record journal entries, maintain general ledgers, and reconcile bank statements and accounts.
- Prepare invoices, monitor accounts receivable and payable, process payments, and document financial activities.
- Prepare monthly and annual financial reports and assist with budgeting and cost analysis.
- Support audits and compliance with accounting standards and local regulations.
- Work with operations and management to provide financial data for decision-making and help optimize costs and cash flow.
Qualifications
- Strong financial accounting and bookkeeping skills, including general ledger management, journal entries, and reconciliations.
- Proficiency in accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, billing, and payment tracking.
- Experience preparing financial statements and management reports and supporting budgeting and forecasting.
- Ability to ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls.
- Hands-on experience with ERP or accounting systems and solid MS Excel skills.
- Attention to detail, numerical accuracy, organization, and ability to manage deadlines and multiple tasks.
- Effective written and verbal communication and cross-functional collaboration.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Preferred qualifications
- ACCA, CPA, or CMA certifications are an advantage.
- Previous Accountant experience in manufacturing, industrial, or similar environments is preferred.
