ACCOUNTANT SAP BUSINESS ONE
About This Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Post Accountant with hands-on experience in SAP Business One to manage accounting and financial operations efficiently. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate posting of transactions, assist in month-end closing, support VAT compliance, and maintain correct ledger mapping in SAP B1.
- Posting journal entries, invoices, payments, and accruals accurately in SAP Business One.
- Maintaining and verifying SAP B1 Ledger Mapping to ensure transactions are posted to the correct GL accounts.
- Reconciling accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Prepare VAT reports and submissions for FTA compliance.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing for internal and external audits.
- Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in SAP B1 accounting.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT, Accounting Standards (IFRS), and bookkeeping principles.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Business One (posting, reporting, ledger mapping, modules like AR, AP, GL, Inventory).
- Excellent Excel skills (VLOOKUP, SUMIF, Pivot tables) for reporting and analysis.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
