Accountant (Russian and English Speaker)

Role overview

Key duties and responsibilities

• Record and support daily financial transactions, including journal entries, receipts, and expenses.
• Prepare balance sheets, income statements, and periodic financial reports in English and Russian as required.
• Communicate and coordinate financial matters with clients, suppliers, and branches operating in Russian and English.
• Track incoming and outgoing invoices, manage accounts receivable, and handle collections and claims.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations and ensure they align with internal accounts.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and local or international tax laws.
• Assist with internal and external financial audits.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in accounting.
• Full spoken and written proficiency in Russian and English.
• Proficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooks or Russian accounting software such as 1C, if required.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail; excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong ability to communicate and work within a multicultural team.
