Position Summary
We are seeking a competent and detail-oriented
Accountant
to manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support financial control processes.
This role plays a key part in maintaining financial discipline, compliance, and timely reporting across the organization.
Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
- Prepare journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
- Reconcile bank statements and accounts payable/receivable.
- Monitor cash flow and daily financial transactions.
- Maintain organized financial records and documentation.
Financial Reporting
- Prepare monthly financial statements (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
- Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis.
- Support management reporting and financial reviews.
- Ensure timely monthly and annual account closures.
Payables & Receivables
- Manage supplier payments and account reconciliations.
- Monitor client invoicing and collections.
- Follow up on outstanding receivables.
- Maintain payment schedules and approval workflows.
Compliance & Internal Control
- Ensure VAT compliance and timely tax filings.
- Assist with audit preparation and supporting documentation.
- Maintain internal financial controls.
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 3ā4 years of accounting experience (construction, fit-out, or event industry preferred).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and VAT regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Transferable Iqama required for non-Saudi applicants.
- Open to all nationalities.
