Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with a strong background in Real Estate, Property Management, and Contracting industries.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, handling property-related accounting transactions, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations and financial transactions.
- Maintain accurate records of property income, expenses, leases, and service charges.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Monitor rent collections, tenant accounts, and vendor payments.
- Process invoices, purchase orders, and contractor payments.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Prepare VAT returns and ensure compliance with UAE regulations.
- Coordinate with auditors and support annual audit activities.
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of all financial records.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience in Real Estate or Property Management.
- Experience in Contracting industry will be highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and VAT regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience handling multiple properties and project-based accounting.
- Knowledge of property management accounting systems.
- Professional accounting certifications (ACCA, CMA, CPA, or equivalent) will be an advantage.
- Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
