Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Jeddah.
The Accountant will handle day-to-day financial operations, including recording transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and preparing journal entries in line with company policies and accounting standards.
The role includes preparing and reviewing financial statements, reconciling bank accounts, monitoring accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring timely payments and collections.
The Accountant will assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow monitoring, as well as support month-end and year-end closing activities.
The role also involves coordinating with internal departments and external auditors, ensuring compliance with local regulations and tax requirements, and identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and controls.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, general ledger management, and preparation of financial statements.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., ERP or finance systems) and MS Excel (pivot tables, lookups, basic financial modeling).
- Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and cash flow monitoring.
- Understanding of local tax regulations, statutory reporting requirements, and audit processes.
- Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work in a structured, organized manner in an on-site environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CMA, CPA, SOCPA) is an advantage.
- Previous experience as an accountant or in a similar finance role; experience in healthcare or aesthetics is a plus.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented organization and adapting to new systems and processes.
