Role overview
Accountant role for a client of Finance Fix, based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
The role is on-site and seeks a bilingual accountant with knowledge of Saudi financial regulations.
Responsibilities
- Manage bookkeeping, journal entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, including customer and vendor follow-ups.
- Prepare VAT returns and ensure ZATCA e-invoicing compliance.
- Process payroll and maintain GOSI and Mudad updates.
- Perform monthly closing and prepare management reports.
- Support Zakat filings and external audits.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- 2–4 years of accounting experience in Saudi Arabia.
- Fluency in written and spoken Arabic and English.
- Hands-on knowledge of Saudi VAT and Zakat regulations.
- Proficiency in Zoho Books, QuickBooks, Odoo, or similar accounting software, and strong Excel skills.
- Transferable Iqama is specified for non-Saudis; Saudi nationals are encouraged to apply.
Salary
- Salary is SAR 6,000–7,000 per month, based on experience.
