In this role, you shall support the operations team with operational tasks involving accounting, sales/purchasing support, and financial documentation.

Desired Skills & Experience
- Financial records handling, ledger scrutinization, and general bookkeeping using Microsoft Dynamics Business Central.
- Manage digital financial records and files in the company’s SharePoint database, ensuring accuracy, ease of search, and organized storage as per company standards.
- Supporting the operations team in procurement, billing schedules, and vendor management tasks from a financial perspective.
- Assisting the operations team with invoicing and tracking of customer dues, invoice aging, and overdue payment reminders.
- Assisting Management and Operations in pricing strategies for customer quotes and proposals.
- Handling general financial administration tasks such as managing paperwork and documentation records.
- Maintaining annual renewal dates of client service contracts and license subscription renewals.
- Preparing Monthly Bank Reconciliation, Quarterly VAT, and Annual Audit process. Helping the operations team and Auditors with reviewing and resolving any discrepancies where necessary.
- Helping with any budgeting processes when required as per instructions.
- Liaise with Banks and Auditors for the above purposes.
- Keep Up to Date with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central and its functionality. Train and improve in its use to raise proficiency.
- Ensure Legal Regulations and Tax Compliance are adhered to, in terms of financial records and processing.
- Participate in our financial system’s adjustment to Corporate Tax through research, training, and participation.
- Support the Finance and Technical team members in the implementation and setup of MS Dynamics BC for clients, through knowledge of accounting standards and processes.
- Generate financial performance reports for presentation to management and participate in consultation for improved company performance.
- Maintain the privacy and confidentiality of BlueRidge IT’s (and its associates’) records, business activity, and internal processes.
Requirements
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance, with related subjects and fields such as information technology, or business administration.
- Experience performing accounting duties in a financial role within a company.
- Ability to learn and be trained in the effective use of financial software solutions. Proficiency in MS Dynamics BC is a plus.
- Excellent skills and proficiency with MS Excel and MS PowerPoint for reporting purposes.
- Exposure and experience working within the IT Industry is a plus.
