Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Female Accountant to join our growing team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing accounting records for multiple clients, preparing financial reports, ensuring compliance with UAE tax regulations, and supporting clients with their day-to-day accounting requirements.
Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping records for multiple client accounts.
- Record daily financial transactions, journal entries, and adjustments.
- Reconcile bank accounts, cash accounts, and supplier/customer ledgers.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Maintain general ledgers and trial balances.
Tax Compliance
- Prepare and review UAE VAT returns.
- Assist with Corporate Tax compliance and reporting requirements.
- Ensure accounting records comply with UAE tax laws and regulations.
- Support clients during FTA reviews and audits.
Financial Reporting
- Prepare management reports and financial statements.
- Analyze financial data and identify discrepancies.
- Assist in budgeting and financial forecasting activities.
- Prepare schedules and supporting documents for audits.
Client Coordination
- Communicate with clients to obtain accounting records and supporting documents.
- Respond to client inquiries regarding accounting and bookkeeping matters.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities when required.
- Maintain professional relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Administrative Duties
- Organize and maintain accounting files and documentation.
- Ensure confidentiality of client financial information.
- Assist management with special projects and assignments as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CA, CMA, CPA, or equivalent will be an advantage.
- Minimum 2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in an accounting firm or consultancy environment.
- Experience handling multiple client accounts is preferred.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Good understanding of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with accounting software such as Zoho Books, QuickBooks, Tally, Xero, Sage, or ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in an accounting and bookkeeping firm in the UAE.
- Familiarity with UAE Free Zone and Mainland company compliance requirements.
- Knowledge of IFRS and UAE regulatory requirements.
- Arabic language skills will be an advantage.
