Role overview
Majid Alfelasi & Associates CPA seeks a motivated, detail-oriented Accountant.
The firm provides financial, tax and audit services.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations and prepare and maintain financial records, ledgers and reports.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable and bank reconciliations.
- Complete month-end and year-end closing activities and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.
- Support audit preparation and compliance; assist with tax filings and financial analysis.
- Maintain accuracy and confidentiality and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance or a related field.
- Minimum five years of accounting experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Odoo and other accounting software.
- CPA certification is preferred but not required.
Pay
- AED 5,000–6,000 per month.
Work location
- Work is in person.
